Ok does anyone have a sure fire way to relocate the Air Temp Sensor to a AEM intake
tube. Which sensor did you use (Honda one or Acura one) and is it as easy as just rewiring it back factory once it is done?
Thanks for the info!

Right now mine is just hanging down the engine bay but I'm looking forward to install it right after my intercooler. Anyway, you'll need to weld a flange to your intake to do this right.

Ok beyond needing to weld and drill out a flange that matches the AEM can it be done with out welding a flange on since my setup always sucks on the intake tube I don't have to worry about it being blow out or off of the intake.

I just located mine in the unused bung on the AEM that used to connect the valve cover breather tube.
I tapped the inside of the bung with a tap and die and then threaded the small round area at the bottom of my AIT sensor (below the tapered cone
) to the same thread and screwed it in careful not to strip it, and used a little RTV to seal it.
Although I was using a spare AIT sensor so I didn't care if it got messed up and I didnt have to find a way to block the OE hole. And with two sensors you can switch the wire from the new location to the old one and see how much difference it's making.
